Frequently Asked Questions

How many players can the field hold?

The current field can fit a maximum of about 50 players before it gets too crowded to play comfortably, but 30-40 is the ideal maximum. This gives each team several squads to work with and branch out for multiple paths to engage the enemy. We will be adding more, smaller fields to play on over time, and we expect to be able to fit almost 200 people with all five fields active.

How much do the games cost?

A single day pass is $20, and is good for the whole afternoon. If you don't have gear we have rentals for $25 that will get you ready to play. You get a carpool discount if you bring 3+ players in one vehicle as well!

Do I need to know how to play? Do I need my own gear?

Everyone starts out new, so don't worry. If you let us know you're new, we'll give you a brief lesson on how to play and see if any players will pair with you as a mentor for the day. The only gear you need to bring are good outdoor shoes or boots, and long sleeved clothes. Gloves don't hurt either.

We welcome all skill levels and body types, so don't worry if you're not in shape or new to the sport.

Do I need to bring a team, or can I come on my own?

You are welcome to bring friends and family to play together, but it's not required. We'll put you on a team when you arrive, and will try to keep you and your friends together if possible. We do offer a carpool discount on day passes if you bring 3+ people in one vehicle, however.

How do I make sure to get a rental?

You should always call ahead if possible to let us know you are coming, or book online. Online equipment booking is the only way to guarantee a rental is available when you arrive, and has no additional costs.

Do you host events?

We host both private and public events, and will occasionally put on tournaments or events ourselves. Official events are usually held on Sundays, though private events can be held on other days.  We would be happy to host birthday parties, fraternities, and other groups who want to hold events. Events during weekdays will require a $100 non-refundable deposit, which will count towards the cost of the event. Contact us for more information.

What age do I have to be?

We are primarily an adult oriented site, but we do allow youths to play and welcome anyone of any body type or skill level. The minimum age is 13, with a parent or guardian on the field. Legal guardians will be provided face protection and a high vis vest at no charge if they are not playing. 14-15 only require a guardian on the site. 16+ only requires prior liability signatures from a guardian.

Private events may have different rules.

Do you have food or drinks?

We have prepackaged snacks and cold drinks on site. If you want to bring a packed lunch or your own drinks, you are welcome to, but be aware that we do not have a refrigerator for public use.

No alcohol is allowed on site, and if you are suspected of being under the influence you may not be allowed to play.

Do you have allow smoking/vaping?

We do not allow vaping or smoking in the field, parking lot, staging area, or check in, but there is a designated smoking section near the registration and rental desks. You must dispose of cigarettes into the disposal container provided, and may leave your vaping device with the rental/check in desk to prevent damage.

Can I record video during a game for YouTube?

We do allow recording gameplay for personal use, but ask that you notify us in advance. Generally speaking, we will approve most requests to film unless problems repeatedly arise such as cheating and poor sportsmanship.

Events may have different rules, so be sure to call ahead to make sure it's okay for the event in question.

Can I bring/buy my own gear?

Absolutely! Not only do you save money on rentals, but you get to tailor your experience. We can custom order in gear for you from many distributors, and will work to get you the best deal possible.

All personal replicas will be chrono checked prior to play and assigned a class, and you may be subject to a chrono during or between games if you are suspected of cheating.

We recommend long sleeves for both pants and shirts, but you are free to come dressed in historical gear, modern outfits, a t-shirt, or even cosplay as your favorite video game, TV, or anime character.

I have a medical condition or allergy, is this okay?

We encourage you to ask your PCP if airsoft is safe for you if you have any medical conditions that put you at risk during physical activity. Airsoft is an inherently dangerous and active sport with risks of injury, and we cannot guarantee your complete safety. However, many people with different medical conditions play airsoft safely. If you need accommodations to play, call and ask. We'll see what we can do.

Additionally, we are an outdoor field in rural Mo. There's a risk of exposure to bees, wasps, poison ivy, and other allergens. If you wish to bring an Epi-Pen, you may do so.
